Keming Li
Doctoral student
Keming Li is a PhD student in the Durrant group. Before the Durrant group’s relocation from Imperial College London to the University of Oxford Department of Chemistry, he spent the first year of his PhD at Imperial under the Imperial President’s PhD Scholarship, with his research now supported by the Department of Chemistry at Oxford. He is involved in the Global Hydrogen Production Technologies Center (HyPT) project, focusing on the photophysical properties of InGaN-based photocatalysts for water splitting. His research also explores charge carrier dynamics and transport in metal oxides, with particular interest in the behaviour of electrons and holes in materials. Prior to joining the Durrant group, Keming completed his MSc at Beijing Institute of Technology, where he worked on ultrafast transient absorption microscopy. He also received funding support from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research for a research visit, during which he investigated hot carrier transport in metal oxides using ultrafast terahertz spectroscopy.
